OPEN CALL

ARTISTS FOR THE EXHIBITION

Legacy is the enduring imprint we leave on the tapestry of time, a testament to our values, achievements, and impact on future generations. It is a bridge between the past and the future, connecting us to our roots while shaping the path ahead. A meaningful legacy provides a compass for those who follow, offering lessons, inspiration, and a sense of identity. In essence, it is the currency of influence that transcends our individual existence, contributing to the collective narrative of culture.

KUBO24’s theme, Creating Legacy, aims to highlight the convergence of our collective traditions, beliefs, and influences within the ever-shifting Filipino (diaspora) community in Austria and abroad, transcending generations and geography.

This year’s art exhibit will be curated and managed by a Filipino artist collective/network sige!, soon to be launched. With this collaboration, we want to highlight our artists even more with improved curation, more visibility/networking for artists, and a public auction. You may also send us an email for further details and clarifications that you may have. Our art collaboration partners are happy to help you through your artistic process and any questions you might have about our theme or curation concept.

We are looking for artistic pieces such as abstract, portrait, landscape, digital art*, collages, figurative art, sculpture, video installations, any form of photography, and the like. We welcome all kinds of visual artistic expression for our exhibit!
